These Terms of Service govern the use of the EJ.Edit website and the sale of products through the EJ.Edit online store.

EJ.Edit is a trading brand of Eva Joyce Bridal Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.

Throughout these Terms, references to “EJ.Edit”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Eva Joyce Bridal Limited trading as EJ.Edit. References to “you” or “your” mean the person accessing our website or purchasing products from us.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By placing an order with EJ.Edit, you agree to these Terms.

Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

USE OF OUR WEBSITE

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and other policies displayed on our website, apply when you access and use the EJ.Edit website.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will take effect when the revised Terms are published on our website.

The Terms applicable to your purchase will normally be those in force at the time you place your order.

You must not use our website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or interfere with the operation of the website.

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

PURCHASING ELIGIBILITY

To purchase products from EJ.Edit, you must provide the information requested during checkout.

This may include your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and email address.

You must ensure that the information supplied is complete and accurate.

Payment information provided when placing an order must be valid, and you must be authorised to use the payment method selected.

We reserve the right to limit the quantity of particular products that may be purchased by one customer or delivered to one address where reasonably necessary, including where we suspect products are being purchased for unauthorised resale or fraudulent purposes.

ORDERS

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products contained within your order.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an automated confirmation acknowledging that we have received it.

This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract for the sale of goods will be formed once we have accepted and processed your order.

If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for products that we cannot supply.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

a product is unavailable;
there has been an obvious pricing or product-description error;
payment cannot be authorised;
we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the appropriate amount will be refunded to you.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices displayed on the EJ.Edit website are in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.

Prices shown will include VAT where applicable.

Any applicable delivery charges will be shown during checkout before you confirm your order.

The total amount payable will be displayed before payment is completed.

We may change product prices at any time. Changes will not normally affect orders that we have already accepted.

Although we take reasonable care to ensure our prices are accurate, errors can occasionally occur.

If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you to give you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel your order.

If an obvious and unmistakeable pricing error has resulted in an order being accepted where you could reasonably have recognised that the price was incorrect, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund where permitted by law.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

We aim to keep stock information on our website as accurate as reasonably possible. However, particularly during busy periods or promotions, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.

If we cannot supply a product you have ordered, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for that product.

We reserve the right to discontinue products at any time.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND DISPLAY

We take reasonable care to ensure that product photographs, descriptions, measurements, materials and specifications displayed on our website are accurate.

However, EJ.Edit accessories may contain delicate, handmade or individually positioned elements including lace, pearls, crystals, beads, flowers, embroidery and other decorative components.

Small variations between individual pieces may therefore occur and form part of the nature of these products.

We make every effort to represent colours accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device, browser and display settings.

Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that the colour displayed on your device will exactly match the physical product.

Minor variations of this nature do not necessarily constitute a fault.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

DELIVERY

Delivery options and charges available to you will be displayed during checkout.

Any delivery dates or timeframes provided on our website are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.

We will take reasonable steps to dispatch and deliver orders within the stated timeframe but delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery information provided when placing your order is correct.

If you notice an error after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to change the delivery address once an order has been processed or dispatched.

Wedding and Event Dates

EJ.Edit products are frequently purchased for weddings and other important events.

It is your responsibility to allow sufficient time between ordering and your wedding or event date.

If you require an accessory by a particular date, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance.

Unless EJ.Edit has expressly agreed in writing to delivery by a particular date, estimated delivery dates should not be treated as a guarantee that an item will arrive in time for a specific wedding or event.

YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AND RETURN

For most goods purchased online, UK consumers have a legal right to change their mind and cancel within the applicable statutory cancellation period, subject to certain exceptions.

Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains how to notify us of a return, applicable timescales, the condition in which products must be returned and any products for which cancellation rights may not apply.

Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

RETURN & SECURITY TAGS

Due to the nature of bridal accessories, certain EJ.Edit products may be supplied with an EJ.Edit return/security tag attached.

This is particularly important because many bridal accessories are intended for a single special occasion.

Where a return/security tag is supplied, we ask that you carefully inspect and try on the accessory without removing the tag until you have decided that you wish to keep it.

Products returned under our standard change-of-mind returns procedure should have the return/security tag attached and intact.

Removing the tag may be taken into account when assessing whether the product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and suitability, and whether any deduction from a refund is permitted by law.

The presence or removal of an EJ.Edit return/security tag does not affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

EARRINGS AND HYGIENE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS

Certain products may be supplied in sealed packaging for health or hygiene reasons.

Where a product genuinely falls within the applicable legal exception for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, the statutory right to cancel may be lost once that seal has been broken after delivery.

Where this applies to earrings or another EJ.Edit product, this will be made clear to the customer.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

VEILS AND DELICATE ACCESSORIES

Many EJ.Edit products are delicate and should be handled with appropriate care.

Veils, lace, tulle, pearls, crystals, beads and decorative elements can be damaged by jewellery, zips, Velcro, rough surfaces, make-up, fake tan, perfume, hairspray and other products.

Please inspect your accessory when it arrives and store it appropriately before your wedding or event.

Damage occurring after delivery through accidental damage, misuse, inappropriate storage or failure to take reasonable care of an item will not normally constitute a manufacturing fault.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a product was faulty when supplied.

PERSONALISED, BESPOKE OR CUSTOMISED PRODUCTS

From time to time, EJ.Edit may offer products that are personalised, customised or made specifically to a customer's requirements.

Where a product is genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory right to change your mind may not apply.

Where relevant, this will be made clear before your purchase is completed.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a personalised or bespoke product is faulty, damaged, not as described or has not been produced according to the agreed specification.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If you believe that an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask you to provide your order number, details of the issue and photographs to allow us to assess the problem.

Where a product does not conform to the contract, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable UK consumer law.

Our standard return conditions do not restrict these statutory rights.

PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES

From time to time, EJ.Edit may offer promotional codes, discounts or special offers.

Unless the specific promotion states otherwise:

only one promotional code may be used per order;
codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively;
promotional codes must be used before their stated expiry date;
promotions are subject to product availability; and
additional terms may apply to individual promotions.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary, provided this does not affect orders already accepted under that promotion.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the EJ.Edit name, branding, logos, product designs, photographs, graphics, written content and other original material appearing on our website are owned by or licensed to Eva Joyce Bridal Limited.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify or commercially exploit this material without our prior written permission except where permitted by law.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website is operated using Shopify and may use third-party providers for services including payment processing and delivery.

These third parties may process information where necessary to provide their services.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal information is handled.

Our website may also contain links to third-party websites. EJ.Edit is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of independent third-party websites.

LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Where you purchase products as a consumer, we will not be responsible for business losses arising from your use of products purchased primarily for personal purposes.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

PRIVACY

Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.

Information provided when placing an order may be used where necessary to process payment, fulfil your order, arrange delivery, prevent fraud and provide customer service.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may amend these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be published on our website.

Any contract already formed between you and EJ.Edit will generally remain subject to the Terms that applied when the order was placed unless a change is required by law.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and any contract between you and Eva Joyce Bridal Limited trading as EJ.Edit are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
